We have a choice of Christmas Menus, a Christmas Cold Buffet from £8.00 Per Head and a Christmas Hot Dinner menu starting from £15.50 per head. Our Christmas Cold Buffet features such festive classics as pigs in blankets on sticks, assorted festive cakes and the most delicious homemade sandwiches featuring such fillings as turkey, cranberry and brie. We also include festive paper plates and napkins to get you in the Christmas mood. All delivered to your venue at your appointed time.

Want something a little hotter? Our Christmas Hot Dinner Menu offers Christmas classics such as Turkey accompanied with roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, festive roasted parsnips, stuffing, gravy and what Christmas dinner is not complete without cranberry sauce. We even provide a vegetarian option of roasted vegetable Wellington. And for dessert, a Christmas pud or mince pie served with cream or custard. All this from £15.50 per head. Included in the price is all crockery, cutlery, napkins, table service including clearing of plates between courses.

Christmas Buffet Ideas Everyone Will Love

Jazz up your menu for Christmas with some great festive buffet ideas. These fabulously tasty nibbles will impress your guests and won’t take all day to prepare. Whether you are planning a works do, family get together or a night in with the girls, a great buffet always goes down a treat.

We know that planning a company Christmas party or a family celebration can be a daunting prospect – especially if you were banking on dining out. If the onus has fallen on you to do the catering, don’t panic. At Baffins Farm Catering, we’ve got plenty of ideas to ensure your event is a festive success.



Your Festive Buffet Made Easy

You don’t have to be Mary Berry to dish up a great buffet. Here are a few traditional ideas that are almost universally loved – and they are super-easy to prepare:

Smoked Cheese in Blankets: This dish looks really festive – especially when served on cocktail sticks. Cut cheese into small chip-size strips and wrap in pancetta. Cook in the oven on a medium heat until golden and serve hot or cold with sprigs of rosemary.

Spiced Pea and Courgette Fritters: Served with yogurt dips, this is a really delicious addition to any cold buffet menu. Mix together 100g of gluten-free plain white flour, 3 medium eggs, 2 courgettes (grated and the moisture squeezed out), 60g peas, 2 tablespoons of finely chopped mint leaves, 2 finely sliced spring onions, 1 de-seeded and finely chopped green chilli, the zest of 1 lemon, 1 ½ teaspoons of ground coriander, 1 ½ teaspoons of ground cumin, ¼ teaspoon of baking powder. and 4 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying. Fry portions of the desired size for two minutes each side in a hot pan. Serve hot or cold with dips.

Potato Cakes with Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese: Scoop out the fluffy centres of baked potatoes, add a dollop of butter and mix. Spread mixture evenly on a baking tray and bake on a medium heat until golden brown. Allow to cool. Cover top with cream cheese and smoked salmon. Cut into squares. Serve cold with dill or sprigs of rosemary.
